I am an English teacher and Second in Department at Stockport Academy.

I am also the High Achievers co-ordinater and have experience in stretching and challenging gifted and talented pupils. As an examiner for GCSE Literature and Language, I am very familiar with the AQA GCSE spec and mark schemes.

I am offering one-to-one tutoring to support your children in making progress in their English lessons. Particularly for GCSE preparation, with opportunities for independent practice, targeted intervention and regular feedback.

Availability: I am available to tutor pupils on weekdays between 5pm-8pm for up to 2.5 hours at a time.

There is also the possibility of tutoring on Sundays but that would need to be discussed.

1 year experience working with Explore Learning, a tutoring company that provides tutoring for pupils of all ages. Particularly with a focus on passing 11+ exams.

1 year working as an English teacher at The British Council School, Madrid Spain.

1 year working as Second in Department at Stockport Academy.

Hold an NPQLT qualification as well as having 8 years experience as an AQA examiner.
