Information about Mark
I have excellent knowledge of French and English as I am bilingual. A British national, my family moved to France when I was 7 and I lived there until the age of 25. I went through the French education system, up to university. I have been living in England since 2004. Being bilingual means that I can easily explain any aspect of the French language, be it grammar, vocabulary, tenses, verbs, sentence structure or syntax in easy-to-understand English.
I can help you reach your learning goals, whatever they may be. Furthermore, I have prior experience of working as a freelance translator and proof-reader for 9 years.
I have a range of resources to suit secondary school students (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5) as well as adults.
Availability: Day-time and evenings. Can do online (remote) tuition using Skype, Zoom etc.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been giving French tuition in the Redhill area since 2006, to adults and to secondary school students. I also have recent experience (from 2017 to 2019) as a Teaching Assistant and then French Language Assistant at Blenheim High School, Epsom. During my time there, I worked with Years 7 to 13. Exam board used: AQA. Good knowledge of GCSE curriculum, some knowledge of A level curriculum.
