I have worked as Qualified Mathematics and Physics teacher more than 9 years in my country Romania with a age range of my students being between 11 - 19 years old and I have obtained the QTS at Mathematics-Physics profile in UK on the 1st of August 2017 . Also I am considering that I have the qualities that you required for this job ,because in all this career I did all the best to achieve at the highest level that was required ,I used some strong personal professional psycho-pedagogical methods in order to obtain great level in my students qualification s .I also obtained the qualification of being a National Exams Assistant .
I have kept abreast of practical and theoretical developments and update material and lesson plans accordingly.
I also created an effective environment and establish an open and trusting relationship with learners.
I will use effective learning support , giving learners opportunities to develop and practice their skills , deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour , also I will use effective materials and appropriate resources , at a pace and level which meet learners needs.
I trust the fact that I have the necessary patience and joy of teaching the students what they need to know in order to become good people in life, both professional as personal.
In the same time I could be a great part of the team, in organizing different necessary events in school`s and student`s interest and I am able to work under pressure.
I believe that teaching mathematics well requires a good understanding of how students learn mathematics.
When I first started instructing students at Dierna Technical College in the autumn of 2000 , I was under the impression that if you just told students the rules of maths ,then they would understand . In the beginning , I would spend my lectures with my back to the students writing on the board . In contrast , my experiences in graduate at the West University of Timisoara (WUT) and now in the middle schools through the specific maths lesson , made me realize that teaching as well as learning , is not a passive activity .
As a teacher ,I must constantly observe the students in order to be aware of their presuppositions and state of understanding .
Mathematics is a precise language used to articulate this ideas , therefore , in teaching one should use precise language . However , the information must be displayed to the student in an accessible way .Examples help find the common ground between precision and analogy between using the exacting language of mathematics and communicating this language with students .I believe that examples are pivotal in helping the student understand the material .
