Hello! I’m Ellen, an experienced and passionate educator with 13 years of expertise in tutoring EFl and French. My journey in teaching has taken me across the globe. I hold a CELTA qualification and a PGCE in Modern Languages. I have had the privilege of teaching students of all ages in France, Greece, Vietnam, and the UK.
For the past 4 years, I have focused on teaching in both primary and secondary settings, working in both state and private schools. My approach is rooted in patience and creativity, and I pride myself on tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my students. I have particular experience in supporting neurodivergent learners and those with English as an additional language.
Outside the classroom, I am passionate about the arts, love to travel, and enjoy keeping up to date with Francophone and Hispanic news and culture. I love to bring these interests into lesson content and inspire my teaching, helping me bring a dynamic and engaging approach to my lessons.

Availability: I have recently moved from full-time teaching at a secondary schoo to full-time tutoring online, so I currently have a lot of flexibility. I work 5 days a week from Monday to Friday so please get in touch and I`ll be able to discuss and arrange a time with you.

If you`re looking for more intensive support rather than ongoing weekly lessons, that is not a problem at all, I am happy to do block bookings during holiday times if intensive shorter-term lessons are what you are looking for.

Experience: BA(Hons) French Degree. PGCE Teaching in Secondary Schools qualification (French and Spanish). CELTA Cambridge English Language Teaching qualification.

6 years of teaching French, Spanish and EFL- mostly French - in Secondary Schools.
13 years of tutoring French and EFL to all ages.
2 years experience of teaching French in Primary Schools.
2 years experience of teaching English and literacy to Primary School aged children.
5 years experience of teaching EFL in language schools (in the UK, France, Greece and Vietnam)
