Hi everyone, my name is Ashley, and I love supporting students in Business and English subjects.

Many of the students that I have worked with usually lack confidence in the subject and need some additional support. That is why I was always take the time to get to know you and create a learning environment where you feel listened to and confident enough to share your ideas.

I don`t believe in one size fits all approaches and will always tailor the classes so that the sessions are relevant, interesting, and enable you to meet your goals.


Subjects I Can Support You With

Business Studies - GCSE, A Level, Vocational Qualifications, and University Support

Using real world examples and discussions, you will explore the subject in more detail and go beyond the book. This adds depth to your knowledge so you can have you need for your exams, further studies in Business or employment.

English - GCSE, A Level, ESL and Academic English For University

You will get lots of opportunities to share your ideas and explore your creativity in writing. Lots of discussions and explorations of texts throughout the sessions.

If you are studying at University, I can provide support in planning essays and using academic English.

About Me

I have been teaching since 2007 and also have a confidence coaching business. My education career took me to China, Japan and Thailand. Before I started teaching, I worked in hospitality and managed several busy restaurants and bars in the UK. That and my educational background in Business Studies makes me an ideal teacher to help you with any business-orientated subjects.

I have a holistic approach to teaching and really enjoy watching my students move past their doubts and become more confident in and out of the classroom.

When I am not working, I really enjoy travelling as I like learning about history and other cultures. So far, I have visited 45 countries and I hope to visit many more in the future.

My natural inquisitiveness and enthusiasm usually translate well into my classes, enabling me to build nurturing relationships and create a fun learning environment.

Experience: I started teaching in 2007 and since then I have taught in high schools, universities and at a corporate level.

My specialism is in Business and English at GCSE level and above and I have extensive experience in helping students prepare for AQA and Edexcel exams. If you are a non-native English speaker, then I have helped many students improve their IELTS scores.
