Lavvan

My name is Lavvan. I do tutoring for maths and economics for school students, as well as finance tutoring for university students.

As a recent graduate in finance, accounting and management at the university of Nottingham, I hope to share what’s helped me succeed so far with my students. I will tailor my lesson plans with my students best interests in mind.

I make sure to prepare lessons effectively to maximise my students learning whilst adjusting content and homework myself.
I assist students with problem-solving techniques, explain concepts and review assignments consistently. I aim to create a positive learning environment for students to excel and effectively communicate ideas and methods to improve their abilities.

Availability: Currently, I am generally available throughout the week, and will update my weekly availability schedule for students to view on a regular basis.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Tutored multiple students Mathematics and Economics to best prepare them for exams such as the 11 plus, GCSE, A-levels and Uni Exams. This included preparing content and questions for students to understand.

Mentored students as a peer tutor in school for students aged 13-15 in Mathematics, guiding them to improve their understanding of the subject.
