Rowan

I am a student at the University of Oxford, studying English Language and Literature. Outside of tutoring, much of my work experience to date is based around bringing out the creativity in children and young people in theatre settings, running youth art workshops and directing young casts, volunteering at Primary Schools and leading drama groups. I have a passion for literature, poetry and drama, and am used to working in collaborative environments, which means I am able to work efficiently to get the best out of people and myself.

Experience: I have a detailed understanding of the requirements of GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Language, and critical thinking, essay writing subjects in general, having achieved 9s in my GCSE English Language, English Literature, Drama and Religious Education. I also achieved A*s in A-Level English Literature and Drama, as well as an A in A-Level Philosophy. I am experienced in working with young people in various settings, having directed youth theatre productions, worked to support church groups, and through tutoring. I am now studying English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford, meaning I continue to hone my skills and also have a thorough understanding of the interview process to study English further.
