I am a primary teacher with 5 years of teaching experience in mainstream schools.

I have a strong track record of delivering tutoring sessions to help young learners gain confidence in their abilities in Maths and English. This can be particularly useful for children taking their KS1 and KS2 SATS.

I aim to make the learning fun and cover key areas of knowledge in regard to English grammar, spelling and phonics. I teach arithmetic and problem solving in Maths.

I work closely with each family to find out where the gaps in learning are, use assessment materials and tailor my tutoring to each child.

I often set homework after each tutoring session to help consolidate the learning. At the beginning of the following session we spend some time checking this and addressing any misconceptions.
