Information about Helen
I live in Greater London and work as a Consultant for a National Educational Charity focused on the role of talk in learning (Oracy).
Prior to moving into the charity sector I taught History (KS3-5) at an Outstanding Secondary School in North West London.
While completing my MA and PGCE studies I also worked as a teaching assistant in special schools and mainstream settings as well as tutoring GCSE English.
I am also a freelance writer, having written for Teen Breathe magazine about study habits to reduce anxiety and gaining confidence in speaking up at school.
Availability: I offer tutoring via Zoom or Teams (remote).
I am available on Saturday or Sunday mornings 8:30-11am.
In term time I am available Monday and Friday evenings.
During school holidays I am also available on all weekday evenings.
