Need help with Government & Politics in the run up to the exams? Successfully tutored students in American Politics, UK Politics, UK Political Issues, Global Politics & AS Papers 1 & 2. Current Edexcel examiner with over 30 years teaching experience. Team leader Paper 1.

In May 2014 I taught on a three day AS Government & Politics revision course for Justin Craig at City of London School for Girls. Students included the son of a former Labour Cabinet Minister and the granddaughter of a well known Oxford academic.

From February-May 2015 I was a tutor at the Hertfordshire & Essex High School and Science College. At the request of the school I stepped in at short notice and taught AQA American Politics and Political Ideologies.

The fifteen A2 students (some of whom I also tutored privately) did very well(almost all) in the June exams. Four obtained A*, four A, two B, four C and one U. They obtained places at prestigious Rus Group Universities including, Durham, Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield Und University College London.

I am offering AS/A2 & Undergraduate Level Government and Politics.

I also offer dissertation/coursework/essay planning/structuring, assessing, proof reading copy editing and revision services to access, undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have experience of supervising students on research projects. This includes assisting students on the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Course.

I am happy to provide intensive revision sessions in the 8-3 weeks before the January or Summer exams, focusing on creating revision timetables, general topic revision, essay planning, structuring and writing exam planning, structuring and writing answering source based questions and planning short mark questions.

Tutoring Approach: When tutoring I believe it is important, to adopt a student-centred approach, where the needs of the student are essential and clear, hence the aims and objectives are set in conjunction with the student to ensure their key learning objectives are achieved. I begin by carrying out a brief initial assessment and consultation, and discover the tutee`s learning style. The tutee`s learning style and development of analytical skills will underpin all sessions.

Ofqual is a non ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England. External Experts have "detailed knowledge and experience of education and assessment and of how qualifications and subjects are taught and assessed."
