Information about Michelle
I am a friendly and experienced 28 year old Mathematics graduate willing to teach anywhere in and around Cambridge. I graduated with a First in Maths from the University of Warwick (ranked 3rd for Mathematics in the UK) and I received A*s in Maths and Further Maths A-level.
I am now studying Mathematical Genomics and Medicine at Cambridge for an integrated MSc + PhD.
I can adapt lessons to suit your needs. I can teach new material, consolidate work from lessons, help with past paper practise and exam technique. I am currently teaching all my students online due to COVID-19.
Availability: Available on weekday day/evenings or weekends.

Experience: I have been tutoring Maths GCSE, A-level and Further Maths A-level for the last 9 years during my undergraduate and graduate degrees.
I have also undertaken a teaching course for extra credits while at university. This course included pedagogy research and a 3 month placement in schools, where I taught Mathematics for one day a week. I have also taught Mathematics in a South African township for 3 months.
I specialised in number theory during my undergraduate degree and I have experience tutoring first year degree maths.

Michelle has been excellent. My daughter only speaks highly of her: Michelle teaches and explains concepts clearly and patiently, and has helped her gain a lot of confidence in the subject. My daughter also says she finds Michelle`s friendly nature very approachable as she is easy to talk to and comfortable to be around. I would definitely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a Maths tutor.
