Information about Amir
I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate from the University of Birmingham holding a 1st class honours degree, currently studying a Masters by Research in Molecular and Cellular Medicine at the University of Oxford, where my research project focuses on amino acid metabolism in B lymphocytes. My undergraduate research dissertation on gamma-delta T cells was nominated top 10 out of a cohort of 200 students. I have a strong background in Immunology, as well as basic medical science modules, such as Molecular genetics, Biochemistry and Cell Biology. At A levels, I have studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Experience: I have experience of tutoring GCSE and A level students in biology and basic chemistry. I have also mentored 1st and 2nd year students on our course on ways to approach the academic and social aspects of our course and university in general.
