Information about Stefano

My name is Stefano, I am a Music teacher.
I studied at the prestigious Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
I teach cello, singing, violin, theory-notation and piano for beginners.
I love teaching and I have a considerable experience in the field.
I am very passionate about teaching and able to teach at all ages and levels.

I have been teaching the above subjects privately and in schools for more than ten years.
I taught in private schools both in my country (Italy) and in the UK.
I teach cello, singing, violin, theory-notation and piano for beginners.
I love teaching and I have a considerable experience in the field.

I have been teaching the above subjects privately and in schools for more than ten years.
I taught in private schools both in my country (Italy) and in the UK.
In Italy I taught at ";Giovani all`Opera"; Music school, which is located in the very heart of Rome.
In the UK I taught at Dallington school in Barbican, A to G music school in Sutton and Coconut Grove music school in Notting Hill (London). In those schools I taught violin, cello, singing, notation and piano, both individually and to classes.

In my experience as a music teacher I had a student with down syndrome as well, and I managed not only to make him write and read music properly, but also compose and write lyrics for original songs. I consider this as one my biggest achievements.

I graduated in Cello at the Conservatory after a regular 10 years studies. I studied at the most prestigious Conservatory in Italy: Santa Cecilia in Rome.

During my time at the Conservatory, I had the opportunity to study several music subjects such as singing, music theory, music history, piano, notation, classical harmony, orchestra ensemble, choir, violin, cello and quartet. Most of them with related exams. I started teaching music quite young as I used to teach children of my family`s friends, even before my graduation. Then I increased my teaching more and more over the years, teaching music to a vast range of students of any age and level.

I do enjoy teaching. I love to transmit my knowledge to students and give them the key to express themselves at their highest potential, through this fantastic art that is Music. During my lessons I encourage them to enjoy music, while learning. With children for example, I use cartoons and drawings associated with notes, and little funny games to help them remember the notation. When teaching cello, I play my instrument together with them using simple and nice little songs, in order to improve their aural skills, form their ear and musical taste through this extraordinary instrument.

Availability: I`m available from 9am to 7pm.

Willing to travel: 50 miles
