I am proud of the large number of excellent grades my tutees have achieved in Economics and Business. With over thirty five years tutoring, examining and teaching experience is a major reason why these high grades have come about. The final grades are very often often above my tutees` personal targets. By working on both subject knowledge and exam technique my tutees make excellent progress. Students then start managing to break down, often difficult parts of the subject, into easy to understand sections. This makes it much easier to analyse and evaluate topics and hence raise understanding and gain much improved examination grades.
Together with a good sense of humour and easy manner helps to realise the potential of my many tutees.

I have an excellent knowledge of specifications of AQA, Edexcel A and B and OCR in Maths, Economics and Business Studies. This allows my tutoring to be geared to the actual exam being taken.

Personal feedback from a large number of parents and tutees has clearly demonstrated that my work has been appreciated and seen as being very effective in raising final grades.

Experience: Over thirty five years very successful teaching Maths, Economics and Business Studies at GCSE and A level. I have taught in a very wide variety of schools and for several years was a tutor at the University of Sheffield. I was part of a team that was employed to advise on the teaching of A levels by the Malaysian Government. I have also set A level exam questions for two exam boards and am involved, at present, as an Examiner for OCR, a Moderator for Edexcel and a tutor of AQA exam boards.
