Information about Harri
I am an artist-researcher based in Bath/Bristol. My work explores the intersections between philosophy, theology, religion and language in relation to the history of Christianity.
I have a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton (2017), and a Master of Research in Art and Humanities from the Royal College of Art (2018). In september 2019 i will begin a PhD in Religion and Theology at the University of Bristol.
As well as experience in fine art and the humanities, I am an able linguist and speak French and Spanish to a high level (I lived and studied in Valencia for 6 months).
Availability: During academic term times i will be available to teach during the week - both daytime and evening. I may also be able to offer availability during the holidays. I am flexible so please get in touch to discuss availability.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have 2 years experience as an art tutor at an artist studio in central London. This involves teaching drawing, painting, art history and theory.
As a practicing artist I also give talks, lectures and workshops as part of academic courses and exhibitions.
I have previously tutored students in conversation classes in French and Spanish at school level. I have also tutored university students in Spanish/English as part of a tandem conversation scheme during my semester abroad in Valencia.
