Hi! My name`s Chris. I`m a vocal coach and offer singing lessons to people of all ages, abilities, styles and backgrounds. If you want to improve your confidence as a performer, practice and improve ready for an important performance, brush up on some of the basics, kick on to the next level or just fancy coming for a break and a chance to sing your heart out, then get in touch!

I am based in Great Wyrley and my standard lesson time is 45 minutes. This is a solid amount of time which allows for a full warming up of the voice, specific exercises tailored to the individual and a detailed exploration of a chosen piece. My standard 45 minute lesson costs £25 per session. Longer or shorter lessons are available if desired, and price for these would be negotiated depending on circumstances.

My main style is musical theatre, but I am also trained in classical and jazz styles, and possess ample singing experience in contemporary styles. I have students ranging from singers in rock bands, to jazz crooners, to aspiring musical theatre performers. I tailor my lessons to suit any style and can help not only with the technical side of singing but also with the performance and communication side of things, unique to each genre.

Experience: I have been singing and performing from a very early age, and have a background of training in musical theatre, classical and jazz styles.

I have been a Musical Director of a youth theatre group for the past three years and of an adult theatre group for longer still.

My performance background includes professional theatre workshop credits in Birmingham and Leicester, sell-out performances in York, Birmingham and across the West Midlands, and experience as a freelance musician performing at weddings, in pubs and in my own sell-out show with the Brownhills Rat Pack.
