Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: HolidayTaxis Ltd. Pricing Executive (July 2019-July 2020)
While at HolidayTaxis, my role involved analysing vast amounts of data in order to understand customers maximum willingless to pay. Once this was established, margins would be manipulated to maxamise profit. A few months after I arrived a large number of existing staff left our pricing team and were replaced with new members. This meant that I had to teach these new members, many of whom were many years older than me. Shortly after this, I was given a pay rise and offered a part time role in my final year of university. Unfortunately however, the business was hit hard by the recent pandemic, as they are in the travel industry. This meant that myself and a large number of staff were furloughed.
Overdraft Craft Ale Bar. Bartender/Accountant (July 2016-Febuary 2017)
Being a Bartender at Overdraft Craft Ale Bar meant that I had to be able to adapt to customers` needs quickly and effectively, this is because each week the selection of craft ales would change. This meant that Each week I would have to quickly familiarise myself with the new selection of ales so that when asked by a customer to recommend an ale with a certain characteristic, I would be able to do so. I also had numerous Accounting related responsibilities that included completing VAT returns, sorting and filing invoices, dealing with prepayments and accurals and keeping sales figures recorded.
