I graduated with a first class degree in mathematics from the university of Bath in 2009. In my previous job I ran a team of graduates and was heavily involved in their personal development which was the element of my job I particularly enjoyed.

Mathematics is a fundamental component to any child`s education. It teaches us to find solutions to problems and in truth should show that there can be a number of approaches to solving any problem. During my education I was continually only shown one approach to solve a maths task. This meant that there were some students who didn`t understand because the solution was not logical for them. During my tutor sessions I endeavour to find the solution which the student understands.

Availability: Week days and evenings with some limited availability on weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have experience of tutoring primary school students maths. During my degree I helped out at a preparatory school.

I would like to think I have a relaxed style with students but expect them to engage and apply themselves during our lessons.
