I am an enthusiastic, experienced and successful teacher.I communicate well with my pupils and enable them to gain in confidence and therefore improve their grades in class.
Availability: Most week days and evenings. Possibly weekends.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: Over 30 years` experience in secondary and special schools. I have taught French, Maths, English and German- up to Key Stage 4.
I have been an examiner in the past for AQA French speaking tests

Pamela tutored me for my Numeracy QTS Skills Test. My maths wasn`t great when we started but she has been fantastic and I passed first time.

I only had one lesson with Pamela due to a change in my personal circumstances. I found Pamela very friendly in her communication with me before our lesson, and when we first met. Pamela is also very patient and made me feel at ease about studying maths again. I am still in contact with Pamela and I hope to resume my lessons with her in a few months time.

My daughter has only had one lesson so far and I thought she would take a while to feel comfortable with Pamela but Pamela was very good and engaged with my daughter on her first lesson. Pamela has a reward system using stars which my daughter liked and she said she was nice after Pamela had left. It is good that she teaches both french and maths as they can do a bit of each subject in the lesson.

Pamela is an excellent teacher, she has many years experience, lessons are always well planned and she uses a variety of teaching methods meaning lessons are never boring. Since Pamela has been teaching me french, my language skills and confidence in speaking have improved massively, she caters the lessons to my educational needs. I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
