Medical student, with a first class honours BSc Biomedical Sciences degree. I have completed A-levels in maths, chemistry, biology and geography and can teach students english, maths, humanities and science up to A-level. I am also available to teach during the half term and summer holidays.

As well as primary to A-level tuition, due to my experience with applying to biomedicine and medicine at university, I also offer personal statement sessions. In these sessions I provide guidance on how to write a personal statement and help students create a statement that highlights their individual abilities.

Also, as I have attended successful interviews at Queen Mary’s, UCL and St. George’s, I provide interview sessions for MMI`s and panel interviews, where I give mock interviews, provide practise questions and help students improve their answers and techniques.

I also offer lessons throughout the summer holidays, with an option for individual or group lessons. These lessons will ensure that students don`t forget content throughout the break and are more prepared for the next school year.

Experience: I have worked as a tutor at several tuition centres, through which I have gained the skills needed to effectively teach students and to tailor my teaching methods depending on each students individual needs.

For example, some children need extra encouragement whilst others may need a more challenging environment, and some may respond better to visual rather than verbal instructions. Also, as I have taught students between the ages of 4 to 20, I have the communication skills needed to effectively teach students, despite their age or ability to focus.

Over the past 7 years, I have taught various students maths, humanities, science and English, and helped them improve or at least meet their target grades. Last year specifically, I taught 3 GCSE students various subjects (maths, English, sciences, geography and RE), and helped all of them exceed their target grades. I also have experience homeschooling students and teaching them the humanities and GCSE science.

Therefore, my previous experiences have provided me with the skills needed to teach students maths, science, humanities and English from primary to A-level. Additionally, I offer dissertation, medical school interviews and entrance exams support too.
