I have 25 years experience in Teaching and Education in Primary School Secondary School and supporting young Adults with Special Needs. I always demonstrate a positive and caring approach.
A can do attitude has always been a guiding factor for me in life. If I decide to do something or perform a task, I make every effort to complete it. Inevitably, sometimes difficulties appear. But I try to think it through to a solution. The ethos of all my previous teaching appointments has been on getting successful results for the students, and discovering the best ways to achieve this. This will continue to be my attitude.

Availability: I prefer after school hours, Fridays, weekend,and Half terms.

Experience: I have considerable interpersonal experience and skill in communicating with students on a one-to-one basis, and also with groups of students. These have been students of many different nationalities, languages and cultures. Students have included male/female, young/old, beginner/university level, and students with serious learning handicaps, both mental and physical.I have been a Mathematics teacher virtually during the whole of my teaching career. This included organising Lessons in accordance with varied curricula preparing materials devising worksheets completing Lesson Plans delivering the Maths Lessons advising students on the preparation of a personal Portfolio preparing students for the Final Exam marking student Exam Papers announcing the results and finally, congratulating students who received the National Certificate.
I am able to work confidently in the classroom, preparing traditional teaching materials, but also frequently using the online platform including Google Meet, Zoom, the Projector and the Smart Board to deliver varied, interesting, and memorable lessons. In this, the students have my active support at every stage of teaching and learning.
In all of my teaching experience, the welfare of the student has always been paramount. This has invariably been my attitude and will continue to be so. I have the ability to get on with people from every kind of background ... students, parents, colleagues ... in a sensitive, friendly and polite manner. I follow all rules, regulations and policies of the teaching organisation, because they accord with my own beliefs.
I am fully committed to treating all students equally, regardless of gender, culture or disability of any kind.
