Information about Orla

Hi, my name is Orla, I`m 21 years old and currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University, Waterloo.

I am enthusiastic and reliable and I enjoy helping others to understand concepts within their studies, and helping them towards passing examinations.

I understand that each student is very different and I endeavour to tailor my lessons to suit the individual. I believe that setting personal goals and working at the right pace for a particular student is the key to success.

At undergraduate level, I achieved a 2:1 at the University of Nottingham studying Joint Honours English and History. In A levels I studied English Literature, History and Biology with an AS in Spanish.

I am dedicated to my own studies and I feel this will help me to be an effective tutor for you.
Please don`t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Availability: Monday-Thursday from 4pm and some weekends

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I mentored GCSE students at Queen Annes`s School, Caversham in my 6th form years in History and English.

In 2015-16, I was also a mentor in a local primary school, aiding the children primarily with their reading and writing skills after school. I undertook the responsibility of ensuring that significant improvement in literacy skills was being made.

Teaching intermediate and beginner English in three orphanages and 1 school over the summer of 2016 enabled me to experience first-hand the vital role that literacy skills play in communication.
