I am a private tutor supporting students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and entrance exam preparation, with a focus on building clear understanding, strong exam technique, and confidence in learning.

I tutor English Language and Literature, Maths, Combined and Separate Sciences, Computer Science History, and Musical Theory, helping students strengthen both subject knowledge and the skills needed to perform well in assessments. Many of the students I work with are capable but need help structuring answers, approaching exam questions effectively, or building confidence in their abilities.

Alongside private tutoring, I have worked in a secondary school environment, which has given me a strong understanding of curriculum expectations and how students progress through different year groups. I aim to create lessons that are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs so they can develop the skills required to succeed both in school and in exams.

Experience: I have several years of experience tutoring students aged 6–16, supporting both younger learners and GCSE students preparing for their exams.
My tutoring has included:
- GCSE English Language and Literature, focusing on essay structure, language analysis, and exam technique
- GCSE Maths, Separate and Combined Sciences, helping students understand core concepts and practise exam-style questions
- History and Computer Science, supporting structured written responses and conceptual understanding
- 11+ and Key Stage 3 support, strengthening literacy, numeracy, and study skills
- Working with students who require additional support, including SEN learners, helping them engage with material in a clear and manageable way

I often work with students who need help organising their ideas, structuring answers, or building the confidence to approach more complex questions. My lessons aim to develop both subject knowledge and the independent study skills students need as they progress through school.
