It is easy to see why learning to play the violin appeals to many people. The violin is an elegant instrument, and the tonal inflexions from the bow create a unique sound that pulls heartstrings. Whether you are an amateur violinist keen to progress or a beginner, I am a violinist and professional teacher happy to tutor you.

I am passionate about teaching and offer music theory lessons for children six years old and over. Having completed a one year course in children’s psychology, I am in the ideal position to understand the needs and abilities of young children and how to motivate them. My lessons are customised to match the aspirations and pace of learning of each student. I never rush but ensure that each lesson is fully understood before proceeding to the next level.

I am a highly motivated person and achieved excellent exam results in all the music subjects and violin in college. I have an outstanding knowledge of music theory and the history of music. I love music and I am also a good piano player. My curiosity and ability to learn quickly means I can easily adapt to you or your child’s needs.

I can also teach in other languages; I was living in Russia during my studies in Moscow, and I can speak Russian. I know Polish and basic German. While my lessons are usually one hour long, I can offer shorter 30-minute lessons for children of a younger age. Our sessions can take place online, or I am happy to travel to you.

Beyond teaching, I am also available to play as a soloist or in groups. In the past, I have played at weddings, family celebrations like birthdays and other events.
