Information about Lauren
I am a qualified English teacher and have been teaching English language and literature since September 2012. Previous to this, I have mentored students in the subject of English.
I have also been an examiner for AQA and CIE so I have a developed knowledge of the KS4 examination requirements and the skills needed to succeed.
Although my main experience is within secondary education (11-18), I have also mentored KS2 students to improve literacy skills and success in SATs exams.
I love my subject and thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge. I love helping students to reach their full potential and would like to continue this as a tutor.
Availability: As I work full time, I will need to fit my tutorial sessions around my teaching post. Therefore my availability is limited to evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Experience: I have a wealth of experience ranging from a role as an English learning mentor to a teacher of English role. I also have previous experience of 121 tutorials and intervention across KS2 up to KS5.
