My teaching style is built around personalising the learning experience to suit each student’s unique needs. I believe students perform best when they feel confident, supported, and able to engage openly. I focus on building strong foundations in problem-solving, critical thinking, and understanding concepts deeply, rather than relying on rote memorisation. I encourage questions, mistakes, and discussions, as they are essential for learning. With over 10 years of tutoring experience and a professional background in AI and Data Science at IBM, I aim to make subjects like Maths, Science, and Programming both accessible and relevant to real life. I adapt my teaching pace and methods based on the student’s learning style and academic goals, whether they are preparing for entrance exams, GCSEs, A-Levels, or university studies. I also work closely with parents to provide feedback and ensure consistent progress. Being multilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese allows me to connect effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Above all, I aim to cultivate not only academic success but also confidence and curiosity that students carry with them beyond the classroom.

I have successfully helped students improve their academic performance, particularly in preparing for exams such as GCSEs, A-Levels, and university entrance tests.
