Hello My name is Charlotte and I live in Norfolk. I am a passionate Primary School teacher, I qualified in 2012 and have worked across the primary age range. I enjoy my job and take pride in delivering fun and engaging lessons, ensuring that I fulfil children`s individual needs and next steps. I strive to tailor each session to the child’s individual needs. I am patient, caring with excellent time keeping skills and am always willing to go the extra mile for children`s learning and development. My main focus when teaching is to ensure every child is engaged, active and interested through providing a range of activities and games which will stimulate the child`s interest and instil a love for learning.
I am looking to tutor children who may need extra help with their phonics, reading, maths or any primary foundation subjects including Science. With a TEFL qualification I can also support EAL children learn English and progress in other subjects they may struggle with.

I can offer:
- Practical learning with resources such as number lines.
- Clear and simple explanations.
- Fun play base approach to learning.
- Additional activities for you to work on at home (should you desire them).

I am happy to support and tutor children in Early Years, KS1 and KS2. I am willing to do short term or one off bookings.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me!

Availability: I am available to tutor online and at home if local, please message me and I will do my best to fit you into my schedule.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Fully Qualified Teacher (Primary) since 2012 - Bath Spa University (BA) QTS with Early Years Specialism and a degree in international education. I also hold a TEFL qualification, so can support EAL students.
Since qualifying I have had positions in a Nursery class and 2 mixed KS1 aged classes. I have also worked across the Primary age range in a supply capacity before moving out of the classroom and to online tutoring to support my work life balance when I had my son.

Charlotte has been a wonderful tutor to our son with autism who`s between educational placements. She spent time getting to know his needs and found a great approach to learning that suits his special interests. She travels to our home and is incredibly kind and patient. I`d highly recommend her.

Tutors Response :

Thank you for the wonderful feedback I am enjoying teaching your son

Sharne (Mrs)

Charlotte has been amazing - our Y6 has an ongoing illness at the moment so has been missing a lot of school time and is struggling with his SATs. Charlotte has been helping out on a ad-hoc basis to fill in the lesson gaps and get his confidence and mock scores back on track. He is really energised by the lessons (even grammar!), we would highly recommend.

Tutors Response :

Thank you for the positive feedback, your son is always enthusiastic and a delight to teach.
