Hello! My names is Charles , and I am based just outside Oxford. I am happy to do online and in-person lessons depending on the student`s wishes.

I am a History graduate, with a BA and an MSt Degree from the University of Oxford (Lincoln College). I graduated in 2025 and am now a History & Politics teacher at St Edward`s School, a major public school in Oxford. Additionally, I do some work for geopolitical think-tanks, advising government stakeholders on international policy.

I can teach History to all levels, and both English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-Level. Additionally, I am happy teaching Latin to GCSE. I can advise students about all the stages of the university application process, and particularly want to hear from students applying to Oxford & Cambridge as I can provide specific advise for certain courses such as History and English.

Availability: I am available for tutoring from April 2026.

My schedule is primarily based around tutoring, so can do all days of the week. Please get in contact to discuss the most agreeable times, either for regular lessons or one-off lessons.

Experience: I have over 100+ hours of private tutoring, and have been teaching at St Edward`s School since April 2026. I have lesson plans prepared for many topics within the subjects I teach, together with resources from, or closely related to, the course curriculum.
