Information about Richard
I am an experienced English teacher, with an excellent track record of getting successful results at GCSE. I enjoy the challenge of getting the best from students and I know what examiners look for in students papers.
I am also an avid reader and a proud father of my 3 young children, and whenever I can I will participate in team sports.
I enjoy writing various blogs on teaching practice which I share with colleagues and I am an active participator in a reading club.

Experience: I have taught English and English Literature for over 10 years. In this time I have taught a range of different texts from different exam boards and have lots of experience of marking exam papers. I have attended Pixl courses so I am fully aware of the demands and requirements of GCSE examinations. I am also keen reader and part of the school book club. As teaching and learning leader of my school I also train other English teachers.
