Hi, I am 1st year Postgraduate student currently studying to be a Physician associate with the University of Birmingham. I have a First class honours degree in Anatomy and Human Biology, which I graduated with in 2020 from the University of Liverpool.

At A level I studied Geography, Religious Studies, Biology and Chemistry obtaining AABC respectively. For both sciences, I sat the new specification thus, I have a good understanding of the specificity required within A level answers. Furthermore, at GCSE I obtained 2 A*, 7A and 2B’s, with an A achieved in biology.

My lessons focus on grasping the concepts of each topic and then applying those concepts to the exam questions so that students can work towards producing “model answers”. Furthermore, I believe that further reading around the topic is key to achieving the highest grades, and therefore, my lesson aims to subtly provide scope for this in students answers.

I am flexible to cover any topics from the Biology GCSE and A level syllabus and I’m happy to adapt my teaching style to the student needs. I am friendly and caring with a passion for all things biology!

I am originally from Cornwall but currently based in Birmingham. Due to covid-19 I am currently only offering tuition online, as the safety of my student is of the upmost importance.

Availability: I am available throughout the week and I am flexible around the students school/college timetable.

Experience: Since moving to university, I have volunteered as an anatomy peer mentor, helping to support students in their transition to university life. I have taught students to adapt to new learning environments, by listening and communicating with them to find study techniques that are suited to their individual needs. Additionally, I have spent time in Uganda teaching students Biology and English at Bethany High School at the level equivalent to A level and GCSE.
