Hi! I have been an experienced science teacher of over 35 years. I taught at a local grammar school, in North-West Kent, teaching GCSE Chemistry, Biology & Physics and Edexcel & AQA A`level Chemistry and IB Chemistry. I also taught in comprehensive schools teaching a wide range of abilities.
I have sort of specialised in tutoring and supporting tutees who have struggled at school for various reasons.
I am also a Grannie, so the monies I gain through tutoring enables me to go to Ireland each summer to see and visit my 5 grandchildren.
I have not raised my fees due COVID, but I have raised my fees if you want me to go to your home. I prefer tutees come to me and I reduce my fees to reflect this. I also reduce my fees if we Zoom!

Availability: Available all evenings, saturday and sunday afternoon

Experience: 35 years teaching O`level/GCSE/iGCSE for all the 3 sciences. and A`level & IB Chemistry.
Exam marker in the past for KS3 exams, GCSE Chemistry exams, SALTERS essay written paper.
Moderator for SALTERS investigations, OCR practical skills and from April, moderator for current GCSE Controlled Assessment/ISA exams
Summer 2014 i moderated the GCSE Science ISAs for AQA exam board and I marked paper 2 chemistry paper.
This year I have marked AQA Paper 3 practical skills.
I have also have these last few years been involved with teacher training of science teachers and primary teachers at a University in London
