Hi, I`m Peter, an Oxford University graduate with a First Class degree in French. I recently completed a Masters in French Literature from Stanford University.

Passionate about languages, I obtained 3 A*s and an A at A Level (French, English Literature, Latin and German), as well as 12 A*s at GCSE. Mastering course content and exam technique is something that comes naturally to me, and I enjoy boosting tutees’ confidence in these areas, enabling them to realise their full academic potential.

With a thorough knowledge of the Oxbridge application process, I can offer guidance and increase your chance of success in this area too.

I only tutor subjects about which I am highly passionate this means that you are getting a tutor who possesses not only an in-depth knowledge of the subject in question and how to master it for the purposes of an exam, but whose passion rubs off on the students themselves.

Experience: I recently spent a year teaching French to first-year undergraduates at Stanford University, leading them from zero knowledge of the language to being able to express themselves at the B1 level (CEFR). This included classes both in person and over Zoom, so I have significant experience with online teaching.

I have also been tutoring privately for over four years, mainly at GCSE and A Level. My students` success has been highly satisfying. One tutee, for example, successfully moved from a B prediction in his French GCSE to an A*.

My success at GCSE and A Level has provided me with a deep knowledge of how to master exam technique, and this is something I focus on in my lessons.

I also have experience teaching English (as a foreign language) to groups of French, Spanish and Chinese students at a Cambridge-based summer school.
