Information about Sam

My name is Sam, I`m 22 years old, and I have a degree in the medical sciences from the University of Bristol. I have always enjoyed studying the sciences and maths, and would like to pass on that enjoyment and knowledge to prospective students! I am focused but laid-back, an approach that puts my tutees at ease while getting the job done.

I am sociable, friendly, and relaxed. My main hobbies involve watching and playing sport, particularly football, cricket, and basketball, but I am also very interested in cinema. My worryingly high level of film trivia knowledge helps with pub quizzes, but not much else.

I have a 2:1 degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bristol.
I was educated at Alleyn`s School in Dulwich, and I have 3 A* grades levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths A-levels.
I received 4 As in Extended Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Latin in my AS levels.
I also obtained all A* grades for my 10 GCSEs, including Triple Science (as well as French, History, Geography, and Latin). I got an A (the highest grade possible) in my Advanced Maths O-level.

Experience: I have tutored in the past for some of my younger cousins (free of charge!) but began professionally tutoring this summer. With my help, my first official tutee was able to attain the pass mark in mathematics GCSE he required, and I immensely enjoyed the experience, both the teaching and the feeling of shared success. It was at that point I decided to look for more tutoring work.
I have also worked in a junior school as a teaching assistant, and so have good experience working with children and their families.
