I studied Maths at Oxford University and love helping other people discover and develop their skill in maths. I`m comfortable teaching all ages and abilities, working with the student to build a strong foundation for their understanding of maths, rather than just teaching to a particular style of question.

I believe it`s important to listen carefully to every student, have conversations that probe and develop their understanding, and to make every session as friendly, interesting and engaging as possible. Maths isn`t scary, and it doesn`t have to be hard.

We`ll work collaboratively to focus on areas that most need development, and I`ll provide the appropriate balance of independence and support, encouragement and challenge, to make the time worthwhile.

Availability: Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends.

Experience: Over the last ten years, I`ve tutored a range of ages, from primary school students preparing for school entrance exams to GCSE and A-level students looking to improve their grades. I`ve also tutored adults, building confidence with basic mathematical concepts and techniques.

At university, I interned with Teach First, teaching GCSE Maths, and regularly tutored maths at a local primary school.
