I am a passionate teacher with 5 years experience working in both state and private schools. I have taught throughout KS2 including Year 6 allowing me to have a good knowledge of SATs expectations. I have lots of experience working with children with a variety of educational needs including dyslexia and autism.

I believe fully in child-led learning with the teacher there to guide the student. Lessons should be fun and the child should feel as if they`ve gained something from each lesson. As a teacher, I believe that building a positive relationship with the student is paramount. Using a variety of methods including conversations and assessments, I will assess how best each student learns and tailor the lessons to suit their learning. It is also important to consolidate learning and embed and retain the knowledge, which can be done at home.

Availability: Available weekdays after 5.30pm and weekends. During holidays I have more availability.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Taught in both private and state education for the last 5 years. Worked throughout KS2 including Y6. Experience working with children of all learning abilities including EAL children and dyspraxia.
