I work as a Head of Computer Science. I have 14 years experience as a Computer Science teacher, and work to develop the teaching of other teachers.
I am a Python programming specialist, with exam board examiner experience at GCSE and A-Level.
I have experience teaching across all prior attainments - from those aiming for Grade 9 to those seeking to secure their Grade 4.
My approach is simple - I help my students develop excellent quality answers through the delivery of in-depth knowledge, helping them to identify `low hanging fruit` - the marks which are easy to identify from the terminology - all the way through to creating a writing frame from the command verbs for extended questions. I am also able to support students through to creating Grade 9 programmes using my simple coding frame.
Availability: I am available Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time.

My son has found Stephen`s lessons very helpful for his Computer Science GCSE. He finds the lessons enjoyable and clear. My son is deaf and finds accessing online lessons difficult at times as he relies heavily on lipreading and visual aids, this has not been an issue with Stephen. He is a clear and concise teacher, ensuring the student has full access to his lessons.
