I am a qualified, enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Science currently working in a secondary school. I was graded as an outstanding teacher in my PGCE year and I pride myself on being able to differentiate and adapt content for students of all abilities. I encourage students` interest in the subject and facilitate inquisitiveness where possible while still maintaining a suitable pace when prepping for exams. My teaching style aims to make learning enjoyable for my students, in a relaxed but studious atmosphere. I will supply all of the learning material needed and monitor my students’ progress in order to feedback effectively. I enjoy tutoring and I am friendly, patient yet confident. As a younger teacher, I feel that students are more comfortable around me, find me less intimidating and respond to me as a mentor as they progress into further education.

Experience: I have 2 years of experience tutoring at Kumon prior to my degree (KS2 maths and english). I have also done one to one tutoring for KS3 and KS4 Science during my years at University.
