Information about Simon
I`m Simon! I had 13 years classical training growing up and studied under Mrs Audrey Wade. I`ve had a passion for the piano for as long as I can remember. I love that I now get to be a part of helping students on their own musical journey. Outside of music, I have a degree in French, a diploma in Leadership, I was a wine consultant and have a new born son! However, music & specifically piano is the thing that`s always stuck with me.
Availability: I teach after school hours & evenings. I currently have limited availability.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I passed all my graded exams with the ABRSM before going to university to study French! I`ve been teaching piano for just over 15years. I have students that have some piano experience & students who are complete beginners. I have taught students from 4yrs to 60yrs. Each lesson is catered specifically for the needs & requirements of the individual student and what they want to achieve (taking graded exams or learning for enjoyment).

I have had piano lessons by a top Russian pianist in the recent past. My lessons did not last long. Since taking lessons again with my new piano teacher, Simon Mort, I have totally rediscovered my passion. I can genuinely say that Simon has such a `can do` and positive attitude, that coupled with his unbelievable patience and skill, he has made Piano playing enjoyable again. He puts you completely at ease and has a great sense of humour too. I`m not sure who ends up reading feedback, but if you are looking for someone to take you to the next level, or just reignite your passion, Simon is absolutely the best.
