Struggling to get those A* in Geography or Development?

I am a graduate of MSc Development Studies at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in London, and BA Geography graduate from the University of Manchester, keen to help you get the grades you want for the next step in your education. I have an in depth knowledge of the history, politics and economics of international development at both graduate and postgraduate level, and am able to provide tutoring on Geography/English/Politics GCSE and Geography/Politics/English/Philosophy/ Development A-Level exams and essay writing.

I have tutored up to A-Level Geography, English and Politics students as well as 1st year undergraduate level for Geography and International Development and can provide advice on essay writing content and style alongside exam preparation. I am very flexible on tutor times and am available for small questions and concerns outside of tutorial periods and aim to be as responsive as possible! I try to keep tutorials as focused as possible in order to get to the bottom of what exactly is required to reach the desired grades and provide the most useful information and teaching during the set time. What I believe is most important in tutorials is enabling the student to grasp as well as possible the core understandings of their topic so that they can then expand on that knowledge outside and work off a solid base, while with essay and exam style writing I am able to mark their work set by myself and their teachers and guide them on their own work to writing within the guidelines set that will achieve them the most marks.

Experience: As mentioned in my bio, I have both an undergraduate degree in Geography from The University of Manchester where I received 76 in my dissertation, and a 2:1 in International Development (MSc) from SOAS. I ran a society in the final two years of my undergraduate that developed several social enterprise projects, which has provided me with good experience in introducing new ideas to students as well as teaching them new skills regarding projects.
