Information about Sera

Hello!

I`m Sera and I am a warm, friendly and encouraging coach. I`m a LAMDA-trained actor and public speaking coach with a passion for helping young people find their voice and grow in confidence.

I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, and I currently work as a public speaking coach, delivering both one-to-one and group sessions. My training and experience have given me a strong foundation in voice, speech and performance, as well as a deep understanding of how to support students in expressing themselves clearly and authentically.

I specialise in helping children and teenagers build confidence in speaking, whether that’s for LAMDA exams, school presentations, or everyday communication. I have a calm, encouraging teaching style and a high level of emotional intelligence, which allows me to connect easily with students and create a space where they feel safe to grow.

Alongside my coaching work, I have experience leading workshops and working in educational environments, which has strengthened my ability to adapt to different personalities, learning styles and confidence levels. I’m also DBS checked and First Aid trained, offering reassurance to parents that their child is in safe and professional hands.

Whether a student is shy and just starting out, or working towards a high-level LAMDA exam, I am committed to helping them develop clarity, presence and self-belief that will stay with them far beyond the lesson.

Please do get in touch and I am happy to answer any questions you or your child may have!

Experience: My approach to tutoring is warm, energised and focused on building genuine confidence alongside strong technique. I create a supportive space where students feel comfortable to take risks, express themselves and develop their voice without fear of judgement! Every lesson is tailored to the individual, whether they are preparing for LAMDA exams or looking to improve their public speaking skills more generally.

I draw on my training as a LAMDA-trained actor and my experience as a public speaking coach to teach practical, effective techniques. This includes breath work, projection, articulation, pace, and vocal clarity, as well as performance skills such as expression, intention and connection with an audience. I also place a strong emphasis on mindset, helping students manage nerves, build self-belief and grow in confidence.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, allowing time for warm-ups, focused skill development, and applying techniques to speeches, scri pts or exam pieces. I also offer shorter sessions where needed, particularly for younger students or those working on specific areas.

I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art and currently work as a public speaking coach, delivering one-to-one and group sessions. My background also includes workshop facilitation and working with young people in educational and creative settings, which has strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.

My lessons are ideal for children and teenagers of all levels, from beginners building confidence to students working towards LAMDA exams and distinctions. I also welcome adults who want to improve their communication skills, whether for presentations, interviews or personal development.
