I am a qualified English language teacher with 30 years of experience in classroom teaching in higher education, secondary schools and in private tutoring. I enjoy teaching and adapt my materials and methodology to meet the learners` needs and interests. I believe that it is important to motivate learners and to help them to become creative, analytical and independent. I am an English GCSE examiner for 3 different boards and have an excellent track record of helping students improve on their expected grades in both Language and Literature. I am also a fluent and accurate speaker of Italian, having lived and worked in Italy for a number of years.

Availability: Mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekdays and weekend

Experience: In the last 25 years I have taught most aspects of the English language e.g. grammar, vocabulary, writing, text analysis, pronunciation, to students at universities in the UK and Italy. I have considerable experience in teaching English to both adults and children of most ages. I prepare students for IELTS, Cambridge English exams, GCSEs, IGCSEs and A’ levels. I have taught Business English in several companies.
