Does your child need to fill in gaps and build confidence to ready them for KS2 SATS or GCEs? I have vast experience in Primary and Secondary classrooms and in tutoring and a very strong track record in closing gaps, supporting students to make rapid progress and helping them to build their confidence to become sucessful learners. I am a friendly and approachable teacher with over 20 years experience. I am currently a KS3 high school teacher of Maths but have taught at primary year 6 for 15 years and also several years teaching English overseas. I have also tutored many students at home and online for many years.
Availability: Evenings through the week after school and weekends.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Nearly 20 years as a year 6 teacher. SATS marker for English and Maths. I now teach Maths at high school. 6 years teaching English as a foreign language before I started mainstream teaching.

Steven is a great teacher, who is very patient and has an academic approach to learning. We spent a long time looking for a tutor for my daughter for the Year 6 English program. Steven built a good rapport with my child from the first lesson and understood what exactly we needed, helping to fill in many gaps. I am even beginning to think about taking lessons with Steven myself to improve my English. The lessons are productive and enjoyable.
