Information about Vivienne
I am an experienced maths and biology tutor with a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics, a degree in Applied Biology and A Levels in biology and maths. I also have over 3 years working in the scientific industry as a researcher practicing what I preach! Doing well in a topic that just does not click with you can be really tough. I provide friendly lessons backed by methods to help you get your head around the subject, improve your exam technique, and enable you to reach your full potential. I tutor biology up to A Level and maths up to GCSE (including QTS numeracy). Also provide biology lessons via Skype.
Availability: No availability at the moment as I am now on Maternity Leave until the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

Experience: I have experience tutoring maths and biology to students studying for both their GCSEs and A Levels, specialising in exam technique for the AQA A Level Biology syllabus. I have tutored students with a range of behavioral and educational difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia. In addition to this I have worked as a freelance writer for DigiSchool which involved creating revision guides for maths and biology covering AQA and EDEXCEL exam boards.

Vivienne was a great help when my daughter lost her confidence after getting a U in her AS biology mock. After a few sessions her confidence grew, as Vivienne was great at explaining topics that my daughter had found tricky and she gained a C in her AS exam. Vivienne is really friendly and I would highly recommend her.
