Information about Jai

Hi I`m a 19 year old Computing student studying at Imperial. At A-Levels I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics - getting an A* in each subject. For my GCSE`s I got 7 9`s and 3 7`s - with 9`s in all 3 sciences, Maths and Computer Science. Through my schooling and also outside from of the classroom I`ve been able to gain a great amount of programming experience so I`d also be willing to help with any coding tuition`s.

Growing up in a diverse state school I`ve been able to observe the different approaches people have to learning but also can appreciate that each student learns differently. By teaching younger students and also fellow classmates I`ve learnt about how to adapt the way I teach to suit each student. A key aspect of learning is being able to stay engaged while learning and it can be quite difficult to do in a classroom where a student may not enjoy the teaching style. As a tutor I`m willing to adapt to a student`s way of thinking and provide the best teaching experience I can. I was in a similar position not so long ago, and seeing a student progressively improve is something that always puts a smile on my face.

I`m happy to teach GCSE Maths, Physics and Computing as well as AS/A-Level Maths, Physics, Further maths and Computer Science.

I`m also willing to negotiate a lower price if lessons are booked in advance.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

Experience: I`ve taught several younger students while I was studying GCSE`s and A-Levels - mostly teaching Maths and Physics. I also read with younger kids on a weekly base while I was in school, which helped me have a more patient and understanding approach when teaching students. Through tutorhunt and other platforms I’ve been able to tutor A-Level and GCSE students in Maths, Physics and Computing. Most of my tuitions are done privately, so in total I have around ~250 hours of experience.

Jai has really helped me understand topics that I didn’t understand before and allowed me to catch up with my class.

An incredibly knowledgeable and adaptable teacher: Jai provided me with useful information throughout the session and he aided me in tackling some problems, providing great solutions while also explaining each step of the solution along the way. Overall, a great help and a very strong tutor to have. Thanks Jai!

Jai is an excellent maths tutor, he explains everything very well and has an effective teaching style. With the few lessons I have had with him, Jai has went through the content I struggled with and has worked through all of my misunderstanding. As well as that, I sent Jai some questions outside of our tuition lessons and he explained how to get to the answer as well as the reasons for the steps.
