Experience: Hello there! I am an undergrad civil engineer with plenty of experience supporting students outside of the classroom.

I always try to use engaging educational methods to facilitate a fun and personalised approach to learning, which are essential to stimulating a student’s enjoyment and appreciation for Physics and Mathematics.
I achieved a 9 (A*) in GCSE Mathematics, an A* in GCSE Physics, an A in both Mathematics and Physics at A-level, and now study a Civil Engineering Masters degree at Loughborough University, one of the top 10 universities in the U.K.

The following year after GCSE’s, I was accepted into a Physics summer school at the University of Oxford; I spent the week researching and learning about the mechanisms of the space probe designed for the Mars ‘Insight’ Mission. In my free time, I play regional level Handball, as well as playing the piano and electric guitar.

In August 2017 I began tutoring for `Explore Learning`, working with students aged four to fourteen. Along the way, I developed strong administrative talents with a proven ability to document, track, and update student progress through formal reporting procedures. This is used as a guide to identify the most suitable areas of the subject to focus on and tackle, which rapidly improved their results. Consequentially, I was awarded ‘Tutor of the Quarter’ within the first six months of practice.
From my experience at Explore, I believe the act of learning is a combination of excellent memorisation techniques, practice and boundless curiosity. I always try to encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible, get them to explain their own thought processes and then regularly test them to see what they`ve fully understood - pushing them even further when they do.

In 2020, I became a tutor on another online platform where after the interview only 1 in 7 applicants are accepted to tutor on the platform. Since then, I have tutored many students from 11+ to A level with success as many exceeded their own expectations.

With my credentials, your child is guaranteed to achieve their goals and will hopefully inspire others to do the same.
