I have a wealth of experience in both teaching and photography. I began my career in teaching after gaining a BA in Education and Teaching (2.1 hons) and have over 10-years experience in a range of highly-rated schools. Six of my ten years teaching were spent as senior leader, managing the progress and attainment of hundreds of pupils and the effectiveness of the teaching staff in my team. During the last year of my full-time teaching position, the cohort of 50 pupils achieved a 96% pass rate in reading, writing and maths, which is far-beyond the national expectation.

Many years ago, alongside teaching, I began a photography and videography business; specialising in creative portraiture. This business became so successful that I left full-time teaching and now provide these services to a wealth of different commercial and private clients (see below for details). I now have an established team of photographers and videographers, whom I have trained in a variety of different skills; through on-site workshops and one-to-one tuition, to remote learning and creative assignments. Whether you are looking for the skills to begin using/unlocking more features of your camera/photo editing software, assisting in thinking of ideas for shoots or looking for someone to simply help scaffold your creativity; I have strategies to help you achieve this. I draw on my years of highly-effective teaching to ensure you get the most out of your sessions and learn in a manner which suits you.
