I understand how challenging science is for a lot of pupils. It’s like learning three subjects and it can feel totally overwhelming. I really enjoy teaching science and try to make it as fun as possible while looking at ways for pupils to learn and retain key knowledge. The new style exams are very knowledge focussed and tutoring can help focus on exam skills as well as curriculum content.

Availability: After school hours and weekends. I work part time so could be available during my days off.

Experience: I have been teaching for 12 years. I worked in industry for 12 years after finishing university. I teach chemistry, biology and physics up to G.C.S.E. and Biology up to A level. I currently work in a great mainstream secondary school.
