I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Liverpool. I have a strong background in biological sciences with a BSc in Biological Sciences (major in Pharmacology), MSc in Translational Medicine and PhD in Pharmacology. I am an experienced academic writer and proof-reader with over 8 years experience in academia. I am an approachable character with an affinity for teaching and an adaptable teaching style.

Experience: I have over six years experience tutoring students one-to-one from A-level to Masters level. My general approach to tutoring is via a problem based learning methodology in order to consolidate the students` knowledge of material that has already been covered in lessons/ lectures. I believe that the application of fundamental biological concepts detailed within the curriculum to real-life situations facilitates an in-depth understanding of the material and a better retention of knowledge.
