Hi! My name is Shannon and I’m 24. I have obtained a BSc with honours in mathematics and I have gained an A* at GCSE maths, and an A at A level maths.
I am a qualified Maths teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and currently work as a maths teacher in a secondary school.
In 2020 I worked as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, so I hope that gives you some reassurance that I am kind, patient and want my students to do the best they can. I occasionally like to set a bit of homework so that the stuff we cover isn’t forgotten, that way my students would get the most out of these tutoring sessions as possible. I also have an enhanced DBS check. My response time should be quite quick, and I would always answer my emails throughout the week.

Experience: I have online tutored now for about 6 years with excellent results. I work now as a qualified maths teacher in a secondary school.
In 2020 I worked as a Teaching Assistant, which has given me an insight into thinking of outside the box explanations as all students learn in different ways. Whilst I completed my A levels, I did tutoring at school in the mornings- helping the GCSE students with their maths problems. I also have tutored 2 family friends with their maths, one was completing an I-GCSE in maths, the other was doing functional skills maths level 2.
