Katie

Hello there! I`m Katie and I am an experienced, passionate tutor with a love of teaching. I have taught a large range of students who have gone on to achieve top marks in their relative exams.

I am an English Literature BA and MA graduate from Trinity College University of Dublin. I also received Distinction in my MA in Acting from East 15 Acting School. I studied English Literature at higher level as part of the International Baccalaureate at Sevenoaks School.

I tutor English Literature, English Language and Drama at 11+, GCSE, A-Level and IB standard. As well as this I have extensive acting experience so can help young people with their performance skills and public speaking.

I own a Theatre Company and have written and produced plays that have been performend on London stages. I experience working as a Journalist and Editor, writing plays for London theatres and also working as a Teaching Assistant in Secondary Schools.

I am an energised, enthusiastic and hard working individual with a love of all my subjects and a keen desire to share my knowledge with you!

Experience: I have a wealth of experience working across a range of subjects, ages and exams. I have worked with students across English Literature, English Language, Verbal Reasoning, Creative writing and Drama to assist them into secondary schools at 11+ or 13+ level, as well as with GCSE`s and IB.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in Fortismere School in London, supporting SEN students across a wide breadth of subjects, including Biology, Maths, History, and Spanish. I have further experience teaching English as a foreign language in a language school in Spain.

I have worked with adult learners too, specifically those learning English as a foreign language.
